Caesarstone® was once again selected by GROHE, the luxury German tapware brand recognised as a global leader in design and engineering, to feature in its immersive Aqua Sanctuary installation at Milan Design Week 2026.
Staged within the historic Piccolo Teatro Studio Melato in the heart of the Brera Design District, the installation explored the concept of ‘Wellbeing Through Water’—an immersive, multisensory journey where architecture, materials and water converge to shape restorative, contemplative spaces.
At the centre of this collaboration, Caesarstone® ICON™ 5100 Vanilla Noir was integrated throughout a series of interconnected sanctums, each designed to evoke a distinct emotional state—from preparation and relaxation to rejuvenation. Through considered material application, the surface contributed to a broader narrative of balance, tactility and sensory experience.
The Aqua Sanctuary unfolded as a sequence of spatial experiences, where ambient light, shadow, sound and flowing water interacted to slow perception and heighten awareness. Within this environment, materiality played a fundamental role—supporting a vision of holistic design where surfaces, water and form exist in harmony.
This ongoing collaboration reflects a shared commitment between Caesarstone® and GROHE SPA to explore the intersection of design, innovation and wellbeing, and to support architects and designers in creating spaces that go beyond function—towards meaningful, immersive experiences.
