The Design

Continuing their subtle nod to the 1920’s period home, The Block’s Harry and Tash are hitting the mark with their styling, using a contemporary colour palette and modern finishes.

The hero of the space is the cantilevered Airy Concrete™ island bench supported by Kinsman Kitchens’ black ‘U’ framed legs allowing plenty of legroom for seated guests. The generous proportions of the island benchtop offer ample room for entertaining and meal preparation with the family.

Along the back-run of the kitchen, Harry and Tash use Airy Concrete™ for the benchtop and splashback, creating a seamless look and feel that is both stylish and easy to clean. The father and daughter duo, complement the design with warm timber tones using Kinsman Kitchens Prime Oak for the feature rangehood, modern floating timber shelving and cabinetry with Avoca profile doors that complete the look.

For the Butler’s Pantry, Harry and Tash achieve continuity by continuing their colour palette and material choices into the pantry at the same time ensuring this hardworking area remains both stylish and functional for longer.

The addition of sleek 2020 Alumin Black Frame Shelving with Broadline Glass adds to the modern, light feel, creating both practical storage and space for creative styling.

Caesarstone^® Airy Concrete™ surfaces are ideal for the pantry benchtop and splashback, not only do they continue the contemporary feel, they are heat, stain and scratch-resistant.
