Where Stone Meets Story in Seaforth
Caesarstone
There is a particular quality of light on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, warm and coastal without announcing itself. This Seaforth home, designed and styled by Heliconia, is built around that quality. Every surface is chosen to hold the light rather than compete with it, and Caesarstone® surfaces play a quiet, central role throughout the kitchen, bar, bathrooms and laundry with Mirabel™ and Organic White™ layered throughout the interiors.

Mirabel from the Caesarstone® Porcelain™ collection introduces movement and depth to the kitchen through layered charcoal, grey and copper veining set against a soft ivory-toned base. Used across the island and full-height splashback, the surface brings contrast and expression while remaining connected to the home’s warm, natural palette.
Balancing these more expressive moments, Organic White from the Caesarstone® ICON™ collection is applied across the surrounding benchtops, introducing clarity and restraint throughout the space. The pairing creates a sense of rhythm between surface and joinery — one sculptural and textural, the other quiet and refined. Framed by timber cabinetry and illuminated by pendant lights suspended beneath skylights above, the kitchen feels warm, resolved and intentionally layered.
Viewed through an arched opening from the main kitchen, the butler’s pantry feels intentionally connected rather than concealed. Mirabel continues through the full-height splashback and shelving, while Organic White carries across the benchtop surfaces below, maintaining continuity with the adjoining kitchen. Timber joinery, matte black fixtures and curated ceramics soften the functionality of the space, allowing it to feel considered rather than purely utilitarian.
The continuity between kitchen and pantry is subtle but important. Repeating the same surface throughout creates rhythm and cohesion, allowing one space to transition naturally into the next.

Set into an arched niche off the dining room, the bar introduces a more expressive material moment within the home. Mirabel is applied across the full-height splashback and floating shelving, where layered veining shifts subtly in changing light, bringing movement and depth to the space.
Below, Organic White introduces a quieter point of balance across the benchtop surface, allowing the warmer tones and veining of Mirabel to remain the focal point. Paired with fluted timber joinery and a built-in wine fridge beneath, the composition feels considered and architectural rather than purely functional.
The result demonstrates how Caesarstone® surfaces can shape atmosphere as much as utility — expressive without excess, and detailed without feeling overdesigned.

In the bathrooms, the material palette becomes lighter and more restrained. Organic White introduces a clean white surface with softly blended undertones, bringing brightness to the vanities while maintaining the home’s warm, natural palette.
Used across the benchtops, the surface pairs effortlessly with the timber joinery, sculptural basins and contrasting tapware finishes. Matte black fixtures create a sharper architectural contrast, and brushed brass introduces warmth and softness.
Rather than competing for attention, the material allows the detailing of the space to come forward, natural textures and filtered light becoming part of the overall composition. The result feels calm, resolved and intentionally understated.

The laundry continues the home’s restrained material palette through muted blue cabinetry, brushed nickel fixtures and warm timber shelving. Organic White is used across the benchtop, introducing a clean, understated surface that brightens the compact space while maintaining visual continuity with the rest of the home.
Practicality remains central to the design, but the space never feels purely utilitarian. Natural light, soft tonal layering and carefully resolved detailing allow the laundry to feel connected to the broader architecture rather than treated as a secondary room.

Mirabel and Organic White are distinct surfaces with distinct roles: one expressive, one restrained; one carrying the social spaces, the other bringing calm to the private ones. Together, they show how the Caesarstone® collections can serve a complete home.
Heliconia’s practice is built on exactly this kind of thinking. Materials are selected in relation to one another, spaces are designed to flow, and nothing is left unresolved. The result is a home that feels genuinely considered from every angle.
