Softly embedded within a quiet, leafy street in Buderim, this single-storey home by TyStyle Construction unfolds as a series of calm, connected spaces. Centred around an internal courtyard and oriented to the north, the architecture draws in light at every opportunity, allowing it to move gently through the home across the day.
A Home That Moves With Light
The kitchen sits at the heart of the home, where natural light settles across surfaces and softens the palette. Timber joinery introduces warmth, while Brillianza™ from the Caesarstone® ICON™ collection introduces a luminous quality that subtly elevates the space.
A cool grey base is layered with frosty white veining and subtle powder-peach tones, creating depth and variation. The surface responds to changing light throughout the day, shifting in tone and bringing a gentle sense of movement to the kitchen.

Rather than overpowering the space, this variation adds visual interest while remaining in balance with the surrounding materials.
As the eye moves beyond the kitchen, the same material language continues. The butler’s pantry, bar and adjoining joinery maintain a consistent expression, allowing the home to feel cohesive.

Material Continuity, Considered in Detail
This continuity is not just visual, but experiential. Edges are refined, junctions resolved and transitions softened. The kitchen splashback runs seamlessly to the underside of the cabinetry with a mitred edge. This detail required careful collaboration and precision to achieve. It is a subtle gesture that reinforces the clarity of the overall design.

Across these spaces, Brillianza acts as a unifying element, supporting both the functional demands of daily living and the architectural intent.

A Softer Expression in the Bathrooms
Moving into the more private areas of the home, the material palette shifts slightly in tone.
Alpine Mist™ introduces a cooler, quieter expression across the ensuite and main bathroom vanities. Its soft grey base and delicate white veining bring a sense of clarity, allowing light to reflect gently within the space.

Here, the surfaces feel almost atmospheric. They do not compete with fixtures or finishes, but instead create a backdrop that enhances the overall sense of calm. The result is a series of bathrooms that feel restrained, cohesive and inherently restful.

Elevating the Everyday
In the laundry, Glacier Flow™ introduces a more expressive pattern, with layered grey veining and soft mineral variation bringing movement across the surface. There is a subtle energy here, enough to lift the space while remaining aligned with the home’s overall restraint.
Surfaces from the Caesarstone® ICON collection support the practical demands of daily use, offering durability suited to utility spaces.

Designed as a Whole
By carrying a consistent material language across kitchen, living and utility spaces, the home achieves a sense of cohesion that connects each area. Surfaces from the Caesarstone® ICON advanced mineral surfaces collection support both the aesthetic intent and the practical needs of the home, reinforcing a design that is calm, considered and built for everyday living.
