Primordia™ offers a cool grey complexion that echoes the character of concrete. Across the light grey base, soft mineral splotches in off-whites and greys combine with darker veils of grey and brown to reflect the oxidised rusts found in nature.
Its unique imperfections and rough concrete finish accentuate the industrial look and feel of Primordia™ with traces of faint yellow and washed green to complete the authentic design – a sophisticated accent for contemporary kitchen designs.
The visual detail of Primordia™ evokes the emotion of natural stone. It is suitable for a range of applications, from benchtops and splashbacks to bathroom and laundry interiors.
Primordia™ offers a neutral palette that works in harmony with concrete to dark oak flooring. The introduction of heavier industrial materials in brushed, stainless metal or modern blacks make a beautiful compliment, while raw terracotta tiles add an organic accent.
Primordia™ samples provide only a tiny section of the broader slab design. To appreciate the design's pattern, variation and movement on a larger scale, we strongly encourage you to view the design first-hand at your nearest Caesarstone or Kitchen Retail Showroom.

Primordia™ incorporates texture and movement, which can create slight natural variations between slabs. To enhance the design outcomes across multiple slabs and edges, always discuss the stone's design flow with your stonemason before cutting.
We recommend the mitred apron edge profile for benchtops greater than 20mm in thickness to achieve the best surface-to-edge pattern continuity.
Bring Your Ideas To Life
Surface Care and Maintenance for Primordia™
Caesarstone® Rough surfaces offer a technologically advanced ‘Rough’ finish which creates a distinctively coarse texture that is still smooth enough for effective cleaning. However, the matt reflective nature of the surface can make it more susceptible to showing everyday marks and spills, which require more regular cleaning and daily care than our polished surfaces.
We encourage you to order a sample of the surface and treat it to different kitchen scenarios such as spills or greasy fingers. Clean up liquid spills to see if you are happy with the results, helping you understand how the surface responds to your daily life and how comfortable you feel.
