Caesarstone® has once again impressed the judges on Channel Nine's THE BLOCK 2011 this week during the kitchen/dining room renovation challenge, with a strong one-two finish for couples opting for the original Caesarstone® quartz surface through Freedom Kitchens.

Josh & Jenna proved they are the team to beat with their fourth win while Katrina & Amie were just a point behind in second place to convincingly take out the top two spots and win over the judges with their Caesarstone® kitchens.

An island bench finished in Caesarstone® Snow takes pride of place at the centre of Josh & Jenna's kitchen, featuring an undermount sink and industrial tap while the electric cooktop is flanked by Caesarstone® bench tops, a window splashback and timber cupboards.

"This is very cool. It's got that wow factor. I like the light and the use of timber. It's got an almost Scandinavian feel." said The Block judge, John McGrath.

"It doesn't get much better than this. This is a young person's house, great for young buyers."

Katrina & Aimee’s galley kitchen made a great use of the available space, continuing their black, white and silver theme with a Caesarstone® Pure White bench top juxtaposed by a retro/industrial dining table.

"The decision to go with a galley kitchen has given them the opportunity to use this remarkable table to bridge the gap between kitchen and dining in a really interesting way." said John.

"It's a terrific use of light. I take my hat off to them. They've been very clever." said Neale Whitaker.

With just one more room reveal left to go before the final auctions, no doubt the Caesarstone® kitchens will prove to be a great advantage when the homes go under the hammer.
