Caesarstone® Classico™
What is the best edge profile for a Supernatural design?
We recommend a mitre edge profile for the best surface to edge pattern continuity which can be fabricated by a stonemason using exclusive Caesarstone® colour matched glues. Our minimum suggested edge detail is a 3-4mm radius on any profile.
How do I clean my Caesarstone® benchtop?
Caesarstone® requires very little maintenance to keep the surface looking like new. For everyday, routine cleaning of Caesarstone® we recommend wiping the surface with warm soapy water (a mild detergent) and a damp cloth or alternatively use a quality spray and wipe type cleaner. Can I stand on my Caesarstone® bench top?
Always refrain from placing excessive weight on your Caesarstone® bench top. Excessive weight can also have an impact on the underlying cabinet structure.
Where can I match colours to my Caesarstone®?
We have showrooms located in each state with large floor to ceiling panels of the entire colour range. Our displays allow you to bring in samples of cabinetry, tiles and other materials and make accurate colour and design matches so that you are confident you are achieving the look you want. Can I fabricate my own Caesarstone®?
Caesarstone® should only be fabricated by a professional stonemason who is experienced in working with our product and is familiar with the Caesarstone® fabrication process to ensure that the 10 Year Limited Warranty is not voided.
How can I tell what colour Caesarstone® I have?

All Caesarstone® slabs are branded on the underside of each slab, the 4 digit number denotes the colour code. Please refer to our Colour Range for reference.

What is the best edge treatment?
Many edge profiles are possible, from the most popular single thickness 20 or 30mm slabs, through to laminated double thickness edge options, which can be fabricated by a stonemason using exclusive Caesarstone® colour matched glues. Our minimum suggested edge detail is a 3-4mm radius on any profile.
What should I do if I chip my Caesarstone®?
Caesarstone can be easily repaired. Please contact your local Caesarstone office on 1300 119 119 for a referral to your nearest recommended service provider.
What should I do if I damage my Caesarstone®?
In the unlikely event that you damage your Caesarstone® please take note of the batch numbers of authenticity located on the underside of your material and contact us on 1300 119 119 to schedule a service call or email us from our Contact Us form.

Depending on the damage one of our experienced technical representatives will be able to advise you of your options and possible solutions.
Can Caesarstone® be used around a fireplace?
Caesarstone® is heat resistant up to 100°C, Caesarstone® needs to be treated more like a decorative feature and should never be used in the firebox or hearth of the fireplace, you should always consult with the manufacturer of the fireplace to ensure that the maximum heat does not exceed Caesarstone’s recommendations.
Can Caesarstone® be used as flooring?
No. Whilst some customers have opted to use Caesarstone® as flooring, this type of application is not covered by the Caesarstone® 10 Year Limited Warranty.
Can Caesarstone® be used as a splashback behind a cooktop?
Yes. Caesarstone® can be used as a splashback behind a cooktop when designed and installed in compliance with the appropriate Australian & New Zealand standards with regard to clearances. For detailed information please refer to a copy of the Caesarstone® Kitchen Splashbacks Technical and Design Guidelines.
Can Caesarstone® be used as a splashback behind a sink?
Yes. Caesarstone® is ideal for kitchen splashbacks offering continuity of bench top colour. It is a perfect solution for preparation and wet zones.
Can Caesarstone® be used in a bathroom?
Yes. Non – porous, waterproof and mould and mildew resistance makes Caesarstone® ideal for bathroom applications. Large slabs provide a sleek and modern aesthetic, minimizing joins and therefore maintenance.
Can Caesarstone® be used in food preparation areas?
Yes. Caesarstone® quartz surfaces are virtually non-porous and are perfectly suited for kitchen areas, or wherever food is prepared, as they greatly reduce the potential for bacterial growth. Caesarstone® surfaces are free of mold and bacteria. Endorsed by the Public Health and Safety Company (NSF) in accordance with international NSF 51 sanitary standards, Caesarstone® surfaces are industry approved for installation in hospitals, restaurants, hotels and more.
How do I maintain the polish on my Caesarstone® bench top?
Due to Caesarstone’s high density and non-porous qualities, normal cleaning with a damp cloth will keep your Caesarstone® surface looking like the first day it was installed. To avoid dulling the surface's shine, make sure to use a non-abrasive cleaner such as Caesarstone® branded cream cleanser available to purchase from Shop Online or for further detailed information on cleaning please refer to the Caesarstone® Care & Maintenance Guidelines.
How durable is Caesarstone®?
Caesarstone® is resistant to all kinds of cracks, chips, scratches and stains. However, like most materials, excessive force, high point loads, pressure or heat may cause damage to the surface. Like all surface materials Caesarstone® should be treated with care.
Can I cut on my Caesarstone® bench top?
Caesarstone® is composed of up to 95% natural quartz, providing it with superior hardness and strength. We always recommend using a cutting board to prevent damage to the surface, or dulling the knives.

Does Caesarstone® withstand heat?
Caesarstone® is heat resistant and is not affected by temperatures lower than 100°C (212°F). However, like all stone material, Caesarstone® can be damaged by sudden and rapid temperature changes. Therefore, we always recommend that hot pots and pans never be placed directly on the surface but onto a heat trivet or wooden chopping board especially when using cooking units such as electric frying pans, crock pots, or roaster ovens.
Do I need to apply a sealer to Caesarstone® Quartz Surfaces?
No. Caesarstone® quartz surfaces are virtually non-porous, and you will never have to use a sealer or any other kind of wax.
Can Caesarstone® Quartz Surfaces be used outdoors?
We do not recommend the use of Caesarstone® products externally. Whilst some customers have opted to install Caesarstone® in outdoor applications, external applications are not covered by our 10 Year Limited Warranty. Caesarstone® has not been approved for prolonged UV ray exposure settings.

What is Supremo™?
Supremo™ is a new premium quartz surface collection from the Caesarstone® brand that will appeal to both design aware home consumers and designers, looking for something new and different from all other material choices currently in the market. Supremo's unique design look exudes a delicate, subtly blended vein aesthetic made possible by innovative patented technology.
What is the price difference between the Classico™ collection and the Supremo™ collection?
A kitchen benchtop in Supremo™ can range from approximately 30% higher in price than the same benchtop in a Classico™ collection colour with the same edge profile. We always recommend speaking to your kitchen company or fabricator to get a quote on a specific project to take into account the design, edge detail options and other considerations.
What applications can I use Supremo™ for?
Supremo™ can be used for all applications that the market leading Classico™ collection has been used for over the past 10 years in Australia. That is Kitchen bench tops, splash backs, vanity tops, wall paneling, custom-made furniture, bar tops within domestic and commercial interiors.
How do I clean Supremo™?

Caesarstone® Motivo™
Can Caesarstone® Motivo be used outside?
Whilst some customers have opted to install Caesarstone® Motivo in outdoor applications, external applications are not recommended or covered by our 10 Year Limited Warranty. Caesarstone® Motivo has not been approved for prolonged UV ray exposure settings.
Can I use Caesarstone® Motivo as a kitchen benchtop?
Caesarstone® Motivo was developed primarily for vertical applications. Whilst Motivo can also be used for horizontal applications such as custom made furniture surfaces, we do not recommend Motivo for kitchen benchtops as the textured surfaces will require additional care and maintenance to keep them looking like new. In addition we do not recommend 13mm for kitchen benchtops.
How can I clean my Caesarstone® Motivo Surface?
For everyday cleaning and to keep your surfaces looking like brand new we recommend a damp soapy cloth, for extra stubborn spills we recommend using Caesarstone® branded cream cleanser and if necessary a non abrasive soft bristle brush.
Is Caesarstone® Motivo covered by the 10 Year Limited Warranty?
Yes Caesarstone® Australia warrants the product to be free of defects for a period of 10 years from the date of manufacture. Your stonemason will be responsible for all fabrication and installation workmanship.
Is the pattern directional?
The lace pattern does have a direction because it has a flower pattern, this should be installed with the flower pointing up. Laying the pattern sideways or upside down should be avoided

The crocodile pattern does not have a direction as such there is no up or down, it can also be installed sideways if you so choose.

Caesarstone® Concetto™
Is Concetto more expensive than Caesarstone® Quartz Surfaces?
Yes, Concetto is Caesarstone’s exclusive luxury premium surface product made from individually cut semi precious stones and each slab is unique with it’s own intrinsic patterns and shading. Individual viewings are by appointment only or alternatively you can contact your nearest Caesarstone® office on 1300 119 119 to locate your nearest location to view larger pieces.
Is Caesarstone® Concetto covered by the 10 Year Limited Warranty?
Yes Caesarstone® Australia warrants the product to be free of defects for a period of 10 years from the date of manufacture. The SM will be responsible for all fabrication and installation.
How do I clean my Caesarstone® Concetto?
Caesarstone® Concetto requires low maintenance, damp soapy cloth for everyday spills and grime. More stubborn spills can be cleaned off using the Caesarstone® branded cream cleanser. For further detailed information please refer to the Caesarstone® Care & Maintenance Guidelines.
