Always refrain from placing excessive weight on your Caesarstone® bench top. Excessive weight can also have an impact on the underlying cabinet structure.

Caesarstone® should only be fabricated by a professional stonemason who is experienced in working with our product and is familiar with the Caesarstone® fabrication process to ensure that the 10 Year Limited Warranty is not voided.

Many edge profiles are possible, from the most popular single thickness 20 or 30mm slabs, through to laminated double thickness edge options, which can be fabricated by a stonemason using exclusive Caesarstone® colour matched glues. Our minimum suggested edge detail is a 3-4mm radius on any profile.

As Caesarstone® is a man made product we carry Caesarstone® ® quartz aggregates and colour matched adhesives that allow us to repair minor chips to edges. Caesarstone® is heat resistant up to 100°C, Caesarstone® needs to be treated more like a decorative feature and should never be used in the firebox or hearth of the fireplace, you should always consult with the manufacturer of the fireplace to ensure that the maximum heat does not exceed Caesarstone’s recommendations.

No. Whilst some customers have opted to use Caesarstone® as flooring, this type of application is not covered by the Caesarstone® 10 Year Limited Warranty.

Caesarstone® is resistant to all kinds of cracks, chips, scratches and stains. However, like most materials, excessive force, high point loads, pressure or heat may cause damage to the surface. Like all surface materials Caesarstone® should be treated with care.

Caesarstone® is composed of up to 95% natural quartz, providing it with superior hardness and strength. We always recommend using a cutting board to prevent damage to the surface, or dulling the knives.

Caesarstone® is heat resistant and is not affected by temperatures lower than 100°C (212°F). However, like all stone material, Caesarstone® can be damaged by sudden and rapid temperature changes. Therefore, we always recommend that hot pots and pans never be placed directly on the surface but onto a heat trivet or wooden chopping board especially when using cooking units such as electric frying pans, crock pots, or roaster ovens.

Caesarstone® Motivo was developed primarily for vertical applications. Whilst Motivo can also be used for horizontal applications such as custom made furniture surfaces, we do not recommend Motivo for kitchen benchtops as the textured surfaces will require additional care and maintenance to keep them looking like new. In addition we do not recommend 13mm for kitchen benchtops.

For everyday cleaning and to keep your surfaces looking like brand new we recommend a damp soapy cloth, for extra stubborn spills we recommend using Caesarstone® branded cream cleanser and if necessary a non abrasive soft bristle brush.

Yes Caesarstone® Australia warrants the product to be free of defects for a period of 10 years from the date of manufacture. Your stonemason will be responsible for all fabrication and installation workmanship.

The lace pattern does have a direction because it has a flower pattern, this should be installed with the flower pointing up. Laying the pattern sideways or upside down should be avoided

The crocodile pattern does not have a direction as such there is no up or down, it can also be installed sideways if you so choose.
