Compliance with Environmental Protection Standards

At CaesarStone, we constantly update ourselves with the latest environmental data in order to remain fully compliant with the changing requirements of international environmental protection standards. We allocate substantial resources to diverse environment protection activities according to globally approved policy and procedures.

ISO 14001

CaesarStone takes pride in being the world's first quartz surface company to comply with ISO 14001, the international standard for environmental preservation regulations.
ISO 14001 guides our working practices according to environmental goals - monitoring activities; investing in tools for enhancing a quality environment; employee and supplier training; health and safety procedures, and environment-friendly production processes.

OHSAS 18001

CeasarStone fully complies with OHSAS requirements for an occupational health and safety (OHSAS) management system. OHSAS enables organisations to control their OH&S risks and improve their performance. It does not state specific OHSAS performance criteria, nor does it give detailed specifications for the design of a management system.
Developed to be compatible with the ISO 9001 (Quality) and ISO 14001 (Environmental) management systems standards, OHSAS 18001 was designed to facilitate the integration of quality, environmental and occupational health and safety management systems by organizations.
OHSAS 18001 is the result of the concerted effort of leading national standards and certification bodies holding about 80% of the world's management system certification. It was created to bring together many previously existing occupational health and safety specifications.
