“Creative couple, Nikki and Adam Yazxhi talks about their dream home – and why Caesarstone’s Pure White™ was the perfect choice ”
When you have a reputation for impeccable style – and a CV that includes Australia’s leading fashion and lifestyle magazines – it is only natural that your home should reflect a certain aesthetic.
For blogger and editor Nikki Yazxhi of Bellamumma and her husband Adam, a creative director at Maxco, it was essential that her most recent renovation (her third) resulted in a family home that looked beautiful and was eminently Instagrammable – essential when you have about 16,000 followers and an online business.
However, both are also parents – juggling the demands of teenage sons (Max, 15; and Jack, 12) and busy businesses with multiple deadlines, so practicality is also a big part of the Yazxhi family life.
This is why they both chose Caesarstone for two of the busiest parts of their renovated home – the laundry and the butler’s pantry/bar, both now using Caesarstone Pure White™ for the benchtop surfaces.
“I chose it for the fact that it's really easy to care for,” Nikki says. “It's really durable and it looks amazing.”
Kitchen & Dining
Pure White™ is the cleanest, strongest white in the Caesarstone range, a perfect match for the new, streamlined reinvented home, which was once a 1940s cottage.
Nikki and Adam have lived in the house for 16 years, doing a few minor changes along the way, but this time it was a complete renovation – setting the home up to cater for their teenage sons and moving the whole family into their next life stage.
It was also the chance to make sure that all their must-haves got included this time around – a list the pair had been accumulating in the years prior.
“We ticked everything on the wish list,” she says. “It just basically works better.”
“"Caesarstone was the perfect choice for our Butler's Pantry in our renovated kitchen. We wanted a super-durable bench top, with a-luxe look to fit in with the rest of our renovation’s finishes. We chose Pure White Caesarstone to make the area really ‘pop’ against the black drawers and steel framed doors. It also tied back perfectly with the rest of the kitchen’s palette. The fact that Caesarstone is stain and chip resistant, especially as it’s in the ‘bar’ area of the house, ticked the practicality factor on our perfect product list. We loved these properties so much, we used the Pure White in our laundry too. The Pure White looks amazing against the Terrazzo. We are so happy with the finished result and it’s reconfirmed by all the compliments we get”

A butler’s pantry was high on this list, says Adam. “We entertain a lot and wanted a standout feature in our kitchen area that combined both practicality and a great sense of design,” he adds, “… as well as somewhere to store a few hundred bottle of wine.”

The new laundry is hidden behind floor-to-ceiling white cupboards and works perfectly with the Pure WhiteÔ bench.
“The laundry gets a bit of a work out,” admits Nikki, “We wanted to make the laundry, even though it's small, look as stunning as the rest of the house. So that's why we put Caesarstone in there, and again because of the durability and because it works so well with the terrazzo we have as the splashback.”
