McDonald Jones Homes Build for a Cure

Wednesday, September 10, 2014

UPDATE: An amazing result over the weekend for McDonald Jones Homes and the Children's Cancer Institute with the highly anticipated auction of the Build for a Cure home fetching an incredible $783,000 at auction!

Caesarstone is proud to support McDonald Jones Homes in their Build for a Cure initiative to help raise funds to support Children’s Cancer Institute’s mission to find a cure to childhood cancer.

Led by McDonald Jones Homes Founder and Director, Bill McDonald, the team from McDonald Jones Homes and Ambassadors, Scott Cam and Brad and Lara from popular television series The Block, the Build for a Cure initiative will build and furnish a brand new home over just 21 days which will then be auctioned with all proceeds going to the Children’s Cancer Institute.

All elements of the Build for a Cure house will be donated, from the plot of land, to the interior design, stylish furnishings, appliances and the garden landscaping, so the lucky purchaser will buy a beautiful home inside and out, and support the Children’s Cancer Institute.

Caesarstone had no hesitation in supporting this extremely worthwhile cause by donating Caesarstone quartz surfaces to be used throughout the home, including Sleek Concrete for the bathroom and ensuite, Snow for the laundry and Raven for the kitchen.
